Hello from Amsterdam...
It has been a whirlwind few days here in Amsterdam! Arrived around 7:30 am on thursday and haven't stopped much since.
Jet lag has been a bit of an issue but not to bad.
The FMS workshop went quite well and I have to thank the Human Motion team here in the Netherlands for their hospitality and the great job they did in taking care of me while here in Amsterdam. humanmotion.nl if you want to check them out - but you had better speak Dutch ;)
Two days of FMS and corrective strategies to a group of Physiotherapists provided a good challenge but it was a great workshop - thank you to all the attendees.
I did get to visit the Anne Frank house and it provided a VERY different perspective on what it meant to be in hiding in a canal house for 2 years. Pictures and books do NOT do it justice.
Tomorrow I hope to hit the Van Goch museum and a last walk around this beautiful city.
Amsterdam has a great feel to it and is a wonderful place.
I'll be heading for the airport tomorrow and I am looking forward to getting home.

good to hear from you dude and that sounds like quite the challenge, physios and in dutch at at that. Not quite the Hungarian RKC team but close I bet ;))
The FMS in Amsterdam was great, thanks again for all your help.
I'll get back to you on the MT thing. I was in Denmark, next to Brett and the Hungarians and I must say, the dutch were probably a bigger challenge!!:-)
even sneaked in some KBs and got some interest going....
don't forget... marijuana is legal over there, so if you're ever going to try it, now's your chance!
Glad you had fun there! Tons of great stuff to do and see for sure!
rock on
Mike N
I felt the same thing when I visited the Anne Frank house. Very intense.
People were smoking joints in the street, and all the bars had signs that said No Hard Drugs.
Rif,
It was fun and as Richard said - it was probably a bigger challenge.
Richard,
Thank you for being there and for bringing the KBs down - it helped a lot. And as you were witness to it was a challenge at times.
Sean,
Not even a passing interest in anything like that - never have and feel no need to try.
Interesting set up over there though - smart shopes and "coffee House" locations.
Thanks Mike
Aaron,
It was very different being there as it always is.
Very interesting with the overall legal situations.
Brett,
If I'd known you were coming I'd have baked a cake! Seriously, don't head over this way without coming to see us!!! We could have had a wee Scottish Work Shop. I have Mark Cheng turning up this afternoon, two workshops this weekend with over 60 participants. Great plans for later in the year if you are interested. It would be an honour to have you here.
It'd be GREAT!
Rannoch
Rannoch,
I will be back in Amsterdam in May (15-19) so maybe we can work something up.
I'll shoot you an email.
Aloha!
Shoot me a line!
Rannoch
