Training today:
First day of the second - three week cycle of the squat routine:
Squat 385 x 5,5,5,5,5
Bench w/ doubled mini bands 225 x 2,2,2,2,2
Squats felt good - and the bands on the bench felt very good. More on the blog soon re: breath set up for the DL vs. the Squat and bands.
Oh oh oh! I can't wait! I am not able to afford the $$$ for a JS Platform, but I'd really like to use bands with the DL.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used the bands for the DL yet - should be fun. Placing the bands under a 100# plate and then over the bar should work and/or going from an 3-4" elevation with the bar on the bottom pins of the squat rack.
