Squat cycle Day 2...

Squats 405 x 3,3,3,3,3

MP 40 kg x 1,1,1
Pull-ups +25# x 5,5,5

Felt very solid on the squats - belt at three holes instead of four.

Feeling good

loose belt training really makes your abs work hard too. nice job.Plus its so nice to really crank it tight for the heavy stuff.

Unfortunately I cannot say that three holes are as loose as they once were - it seems my weight has moved up a few pounds - I am hovering between 187-188 instead of 185ish- I am afraid that squats might be having an unwanted effect!
Time to pull the reigns in and get a bit more serious about the diet!
Thanks Rif

dude I am convinced you are at least a 198'er but hey, enjoy the dieting, lol!you look great in the Danish RKC video, very solid.

and BTW, getting bigger because you are squatting well is NEVER to be termed " an unwanted effect" ,lol!

Brett, I was so shocked to see your comment on my blog because I was just thinking of you!

I saw you on the Danish RKC video and you look grrreat! Dare I say, even, HOT! The extra weight looks mighty beefy and handsome! (Sorry for any embarassment) I agree with Mark go to the 198's!

I just added squatting back into my workouts and put on 2-3lbs, of which I'm not happy about, so I know where you're coming from. But my bodyfat hit an all time low of 16.8%, so it's about trade-offs , I guess.

Keep up it. Tracy

Rif,
I figured you'd get a kick out of my unwanted squatting effect comment - going 198 takes me out of that little strong guy category ;(

Tracy,
Thank you - no embarassment at all - I do feel very good at this weight so we will see where I go.
The trade off between the scale (bw) and the BF% is a good one- btw
