that looks good. nice volume and use of 'same but different' movements. nice dips too, that'll get those triceps.

Thanks Rif - I finally got pissed about my crappy bench!
The plan will be for:
Squats and partial bench on Monday
rest Tuesday
Wed - Thurs - Fri will be:
PTP style DL and Bench
10 singles of DL (start at 80%)
2x5 bench (start at 70%)
Some pull-ups for fun.

Rest the weekend - lots of Z

What do you think?

Brett-

You going to the Monster meet this year? As far as I know we will be there doing our thing-hope to see you.

Plan looks good, I never got much out of deadlift singles myself, by a lot of people swear by them. Thanks for the well-wishes, surgery went well and I should be back to training this coming Sunday.

Rick,
I am not planning on that meet for this year - way too long and disorganized for my taste. I'll be hitting a couple of ADAU meets in the early part of the year - Feb 23 in Johnstown or March 29 in Erie.
DL Singles or doubles work well for me.
Very glad to hear the surgery went well (cool pics).
Have fun Sunday!

brett,

glad you are going after the bench, that will make all the differnce.I like the plan but how are you going to do the partial bench?I am partial to boards as you know, done with a closer than comp grip.
even without a partner it is easy to rig theboards so you can do them alone in a power rack.
also I would heartily recommend a solid tricep extension exercise as a tricep assist.

Thanks Rif - I'll give you a call very soon to discuss.
